An internship must be completed during the Master’s program in Statistics. It should last at least 6 weeks full-time or up to 12 weeks part-time. Work carried out within a university institution cannot be recognized as an internship.

Content requirements for the internship (based on internship regulations of the HU School of Business and Economics): “The internship must be related to the course of study. Not recognized are

• (i) activities as a student assistant (SHK) at universities or research institutions and
• (ii) self-employed activities”.

Content requirements for the internship report: “The internship report should contain, among other things, an introduction to the company/internship position, a motivation for the internship and a detailed job description (including projects, areas of responsibility as well as acquired and applied knowledge and skills related to studies).”
